Bitvise has two components:
- A SSH client that gives you terminal (command line / shell prompt) access to servers
- A SFTP client that gives you file transfer access to servers

Using Bitvise
- Download and install the program
- Launch the program
- For Host enter
bobby.cs.unlv.edu
- For Username enter your username
- At any time after entering the host and username you can save your profile or login
- Upon logging the first time in you may get a notification about the Host Key Verification -- accept and save
- When logging in you will have to enter your password
- Bitvise will, by default, launch a terminal window and a file transfer window -- you may close either one or both, and can relaunch either from the main Bitvise screen (see New terminal console or New SFTP window)
- You may also open multiple terminal windows by clicking New terminal console in the main Bitvise screen
