The College of Engineering no longer provides email to faculty or students

Alpine (Pine) can no longer be used to access email.

Email can be sent when logged into your Linux account. See specific directions below.

Sending Mail:

The local mailer is called mail. To send a message you must use the complete email address of the recipient. Like this:
prompt# mail recipient@foo.bar.edu< file
Try this next one if you want to add a subject line:
prompt# mail -s "hi mom" recipient@foo.bar.edu < file

Note:

If you want a copy of any messages sent using this method, you must include you email address as one of the recipients.

Sending/Receiving Mail:
